By the invitation of deputy GM of CNPC Shen Diancheng, chairman of HOT New Energy Xiao Feng joined the CNPC technical discussions for energy efficiency together with the leaders of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group. Heads of the Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation Division, Science & Technology Management Division, Exploration and Production Subsidiary, Refinery and Chemical Engineering Subsidiary and the subsidiary units of PetroChina in charge of oil fields and chemical engineering in various locations also participated in the workshop, wherein they explored the applications of energy efficiency and environmental protection technologies in the exploration, exploitation and refinery segments of PetroChina, as well as the existing issues and solutions thereof.
Deputy GM of CNPC and member of corporate party committee, Shen Diancheng and other leaders made a detailed presentation of the work and achievements the company has done in this regard, while also expressed their determination to accomplish the daunting task raised by the country. Afterwards, CNPC Executives in charge of exploration, production and refinery segments shared the status of and problems with the furnace technology and desulfurization and denitration technology used in the oil exploration, exploitation and refinery of CNPC. The industrial energy efficiency unit proposed an innovative solution to heat the furnace with new energy, which was nodded by Deputy GM Shen Diancheng and experts in the meeting. PetroChina also pledged to set up a test program to conduct R&D together with Hot New Energy.
According to the instructions of leaders on both sides, the two parties will establish a collaborative R&D team in the field of technical innovation and fuel structure improvement respectively to jointly boost technical upgrading and program Execution and offer quality equipments and services for CNPC’s efforts in energy efficiency and emission reduction.
