After hearing the father of electric technician at Engineering Unit of the Delivery Center Xi Leilei was diagnosed with esophagus cancer in June 2014, his supervisor Li Wanlong waited no time to apply to the Charity Foundation. The admin department made a grade-1 response immediately too. As a foundation for mutual helps, the principle of the Charity Foundation is that the company will hold out a helping hand to every member of the foundation when help is needed. We learned from Xi Leilei’s supervisor and coworkers that he is highly devoted to his work with a responsible, upright and diligent attitude and is therefore highly commended by his leaders and colleagues. He was also rated an outstanding employee in the PBC assessment in 2013. To encourage such an attitude and pass along the positive energy, the Charity Foundation decided to donate 2,000 RMB to him as support.
Xi Leilei was rather emotional when accepting the donation from the company and his father expressed his gratitude to the company leadership and associates too, saying: the company is really thoughtful of its employees and their families, and the amount of money is not important, what matters is the heart. Xi Leilei thanked for the concerns and helps shown by the company and associates, and felt blessed to work for a family-like company. He promised to continue to work hard and not fail the expectations of the company and the corporate leadership.
